Bavalla is torn between a deadly captain who doesn't tolerate mistakes and the pretty human who demands to be returned to Earth along with all of her zoo animals. To make matters worse Bavalla is extremely attracted to Tilly and doesn't want to return her at all. This read like a YA to me. It was a cute romance story involving f/f, caring for wild animals, a few culture clash laughs, overcoming the villain and a sweet HEA. A light read that makes you feel good. Easy to follow, believable, and sharp on imagery and editing. This is not my usual genre but I'm having fun with it and not having to go to deep dark places. I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

Loved this one. Great tension. Great plot. This book has steamy tension but the bedroom steam is short. I can't wait to see the sequel. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Adorably Romantic This story is so sweet - Valla and Tilly are so sweet together, first fumbling through first contact, then falling for each other. I loved watching them fall in love, it was so tender and romantic. Tilly’s commitment to her zoo animals was also really inspiring. A wonderful start to what is such to be a sweet series.
