In this book you find out what happened to Gus, he left the Purple Oasis to go to the Nest Oasis. It is not the safe, happy place he was hoping for. He thought being with other bird shifters would be more comfortable. Then you have Morgana, the daughter of the man who made the Oasis. He has changed and is not the father she grew up with. Both are trying to escape and they work together to get to the Purple Oasis. I enjoyed the reunion between Hugo, Carly and Gus. Plus I found Goose funny.

Morgan is absolutely set on running away from the nest. She may have a decent life but does not like how her father rules and the control he has over her. She finds Gus and his group and they agree to take her if she has supplies. This is the start to them developing a relationship. Once they arrive they start to develop a friendship. I absolutely loved Goose and Pinkie. Gus and Morgan work perfectly together. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This one gives us some insight into another hub after the apocalypse, The Nest. We find out all hubs aren't created equal. Our MCs are Morgana(Morgan) and Gus. We see how they live two very different, but similar lives in The Nest. I liked this one a lot. A great representation that not all is 'great and perfect' after the life changing events of the apocalypse. Definitely recommened read!.
