Usually books grab my imagination from the beginning and run with it. This did not. The synopsis sounded good and the authors are wonderful so I was surprised. I can't even articulate what made it so boring for me to read. It really was more like a chore than a pleasure. Keep in mind that this is just one woman's opinion and taste in books. Each and every person has their own opinion so I leave it up to you to decide. To buy or not to buy, that is your question.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I like the theme of recovering nature and the earth after it was destroyed. Using old methods work and when a possible trade for tea opens, Jasmine is sent. She meets Ryburn who works with her to make a possible trade agreement. Unfortunately there are still those who don't want things to improve. I liked how Jasmine and Ryburn work together to save the spring.

An interesting start to the series. I enjoyed how the Nymph’s were not just going to help someone who would ruin the land and wanted proof it would be taken care of. Jasmine was sent to represent Purple Oasis and Ryburn the Nymphs. They quickly see each other's side and fall in love. I don't usually love post-apocalyptic books but I enjoyed the sweet romance and rebuilding of a community. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
