Eva, a weather witch, is assigned to report the weather to Ford. However, he is not very good with people and appears mean. I enjoyed them becoming lovers, even if it was a very quick transition due to forced proximity. Max is Eva’s twin ,but seems to be having difficulty with his powers. I truly enjoyed the time Eva and Ford spent together, them agreeing to a date was so cute. I recommend you read this interesting quick read. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As weather witches, Eva and her twin are often treated poorly by people who don't understand their magic. They aren't sure what to expect when are assigned to help with the weather in the fields at Purple Oasis. When Eva meets the supervisors, she is not happy with how Ford reacts to her. The nymph doesn't understand people and tends to avoid them. It was interesting to read how Eva and Ford work out their communication problems and watch their friendship take root.

That's how Ford would describe Eva & himself. Both useful in their own way, with the nettle having a little sting. Good thing he understands nettles & is able to slowly open up to Eva after their first few cold interactions. He's not a people person & the weather witch's powers are daunting. But when she helps him tend his plants after a storm, their silent communication speaks louder than any words. Surely, she will be as attentive to his heart. Another super sweet story of young love.
