I love the take on this one where a human ex-hunter now has to live with the very creatures she was hunting in the past. It's a sort of hate/love relationship. I enjoyed it and can't wait to see what else is in store with the rest of the stories. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I loved the foreshadowing in this first book of Grimalkin Vampires. Lily will become important in the future but now she is a prisoner and former vampire hunter who gets a chance to go to Grimalkin Academy. She has a gift which is important and develops a relationship with her guard Bryce. Lily gets her wish when she is killed and now the real adventures will start.

The first book in the Grimalkin Academy: Stakes series. Lilly is human going to a Vampire academy and vampire Bryce is her bodyguard. A well written story that kept me turning pages. I want to read the next part of this series. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
