K. J. Farnham was born and raised in a suburb of Milwaukee and has always believed in the power of stories to connect us. She earned degrees in education from UW–Milwaukee and Carroll University and spent twelve years teaching children to read and write, an experience that continues to shape her understanding of resilience, empathy, and the quiet moments that define us.<br><br>She now lives in western Wisconsin where she writes contemporary fiction that explores the quiet ache of being human—love, loss, identity, and the unexpected turns that force us to confront what truly matters. When she isn't writing, she enjoys reading, coffee, beach outings, road trips, and raw, emotional singer-songwriter music.
