Celine went to the morning-after mating ritual in Crescent Creek and got her mating mark but Renata wasn’t there so Celine didn’t know who her mate was for 3 1/3 years. Renata was helping her uncle by running the coffee stand at the Christmas market but didn’t like the season. They met but didn’t realize that they were mates, they felt drawn to each other so when Renata asked her to go to the mating ritual Celine told her that she already had a mate. So Renata left and went home to the city ear

Celina know she has a fated mate out there somewhere. She just hasn’t meet her yet. So when she meets Renata she is attracted but afraid to start anything. This was a fun, easy read that had me laughing. These two were opposites in every way. One love’s Christmas and one is a grump. I would recommend this book. Renata is home for the holidays - she dislikes Christmas because of a bad experience a few years ago, but is working the Christmas markets for her Uncle. Celine still lives in Crescent Creek - and when she meets a grumpy Renata, she has no idea how her life will change! Loved it!.
