Here is my review for two of the books in this amazing series. Catching a Vampire: Fantastic characters, an intricate plot, humour, a romantic interest (or is that possibly more than one) and an easy to read writing style all combine to make this a must have book for all lovers of Laura Greenwood. It was nice catching up with some old friends but I love the direction this new/spinoff series is heading and I look forward to reading more of Daphne and her exploits. Will she and her brother discover the spell and if so, at what cost to Daphne and Heath? Catching a Warlock: It is always bittersweet when a story as good as this one concludes. On one hand you have been waiting to see how things play out for characters that you have become invested in and on the other hand you're sad that you're going to have to say goodbye to them. Catching a Warlock was a fantastic conclusion to this series. Daphne and her brother solve one thing only to be presented with a different challenge. Her enemy is at pains to make sure that not only does Daphne lose Heath but her position at the academy. The author has done a wonderful job with tying everything up but you will have to read the book and see for yourselves exactly how things pan out. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is Daphne’s story as she searches for an old family spell in the Catacombs of Grimalkin Academy, falls in love, and gets up to other mischief in the complete Grimalkin Academy: Catacombs Trilogy. This trilogy includes: Catching A Vampire, Catching A Wizard, and Catching A Warlock. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what to expect. *** Reviewing “CATCHING A VAMPIRE” *** Daphne Chambers and her twin brother, Ryan, started attending Grimalkin Academy to give them the opportunity of finding an old family spell hidden there that, according to legend, will allow a Chambers’ member to turn into a cat. Her brother thinks the spell will be found somewhere in the vampire library down in the catacombs, which is off-limits. Ryan figures that if she gets cozy with a vampire, she’ll be able to access their library and convinces her to give it a try. However, she doesn’t expect to actually fall for the vampire she chooses from class. Heath is a genuinely nice guy! And there are two other guys from her past who would also like her attention. Things keep getting more complicated and stressful. And why does Miss Feathertop keep giving her a hard time? This is a very enjoyable start of this excellent trilogy, the humorous antics keeping it intriguing and fun as the characters interact. The reader can see from the start that this will be a fun-filled adventure if Daphne can make it through the first semester! Grab the set and enjoy the craziness!
