Mistress of Sky and Stars I’m familiar with classical mythology, but the Greeks and Romans will never hold my heart the way the Egyptians and Norse do. I love the way the author has combined myth and romance in this story to give us something that feels bigger than I think it would have been purely of either style. Nut is fierce and Geb is sweet. Together they can be strong enough to face any obstacle in their path.

Immerse yourself in the gods of Egypt! These stories give a new view of the gods of Egypt. There are jealousies, intrigue, love, and danger in their lives. Laura Greenwood uses historical stories to bring them to life. The stories are fascinating to read and informative, which is one of my favorite types of books. I really enjoyed reading them and I look forward to more books in the series. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

This collection features all four books: Mistress of Sky and Stars, Collector of Sand and Tears, Queen of the Two Lands and Bringer of the Two Rivers. We get Nut & Geb’s story in book 1. We get Nehmetawy & Thoth’s story in book 2. We get Isis & Osiris’ story in book 3. Finally in book 4 we get Taweret, whom we meet in book 1 and throughout, her story with Sobek in book 4. Each story is short and based on several different Egyptian myths originating around the New Kingdom of each deity.

Laura is a USA Today Bestselling Author of paranormal, fantasy, urban fantasy, and contemporary romance. When she's not writing, she drinks a lot of tea, tries to resist French macarons, and works towards a diploma in Egyptology. She lives in the UK, where most of her books are set.
