This book starts the series and I found it funny and good to read. You have to love how Callie becomes a cat and how the cat gets her into trouble. The cat had decided she loves the firemen next door and keeps going there leaving Callie naked when she shifts back. This is a laugh out loud book. I love when Callie saves Will, you will have to read the book to find out why and how she does it. It is scary but funny at the same time. I enjoyed reading this book. I really enjoyed reading the first book of this new series. It was a fun read, with quirky and interesting characters. This first book lays out a good foundation for the remaining books in the series. I like Callie - she's an intriguing mix of confidence and stubbornness that sometimes makes you smile, and other times makes you want to face palm (or maybe smack her in the head). In that sense, she is very much like any other person and it makes it easy to accept and empathize with her. Of course, inconvenient shifting when stressed is a little different that most folks... I like how Callie mixes with the guys and I can't wait to see how each one of them evolves. And the world building is fantastic with all the magic and other beings. I am impatiently waiting for the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have really enjoyed other Books/Series by Laura Greenwood so I jumped at the chance to read this book as an Advance Reader Copy. I enjoyed this book! It was lots of fun with a great plot development, a well crafted world and characters you want to see develop, even some romance.
