A new perspective to an old tale. This is a modern version of The Goose Girl. Helena and Wilhelm are betrothed and, unlike many royals, they are deeply in love with each other but her prophecy may prevent their future together if it comes true. It is an enjoyable story but was a little too bland. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

This is the goose girl’s prophecy. Helena will have someone switch places with her and she will be unable to talk about it. The only part I did not get was why Melanie who was her maid did not know how to act properly or dress properly. The rest of the story was interesting and I enjoyed the relationship between Wilhelm and Helena. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed this story. It pulled me in from beginning to end and was entertaining. I loved the twist on the fairytale and it kept the story interesting and engaging. I loved watching these two finally make it together and avoid her prophecy coming true. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
