'Dawn of Blood' is the third and final book in the "City of Blood" Trilogy. It comes with all the action, surprise, and self-discovery I could hope for while following the twists and turns in this dystopian world. Chloe realizes how much Oscar means to her only after he's been captured and put in the fighting rings. Completely taking Chloe by surprise, Catherine offers to help find a way to rescue Oscar. The intrigue continues to build as Chloe will do what she needs to in order to bring the Mayor and City of Blood down all while rescuing Oscar.

I really am loving this series! The story lines are exciting and leave me eagerly anticipating the release of the next book in the series. Chloe has to try and rescue Oscar while still trying to bring down the City of Blood. This was an exciting read and had some surprises in there for me. I loved the characters, even the side characters like Catherine and Benedict. I was pleased with the ending to this story and hope that maybe we will hear a little more about these characters in the future. I have loved the City of Blood series and the ending is bittersweet. The characters continue to enchant and Ms Greenwood has done an amazing job of rounding out Chloe and Oscar's journey. I loved that we got to see more of Catherine and that she continues to be such an ally to Chloe and recruiting Chloe for a task that will stretch her beyond the limits that she had set herself. There is plenty of action, drama, emotion and we see what lengths Chloe is willing to go to in order to achieve the goal she set out to do, which is to bring lasting change to the City of Blood but will the price she pays be the ultimate one?
