Callie Dane is the epitome of a starving artist. Her dream has always been to make it in the world doing what she loves, but lately, life has been kicking her while she’s down. When her latest client fires her, Callie has no choice but to search for a stable job… one that will keep a roof over her head and the heat on.

Bryan Dane, Callie’s brother, is a detective with the Miami Dade Police Department who offers her a chance to work with him as a forensic artist.
