Cat Rector grew up in little town Canada and just returned from seven years abroad with her partner. A lover of stories in all formats, she began dabbling with writing as a teen and put it aside in favour of a Real Job™. Some of those Real Jobs™ have included animation, public relations, marketing, and slinging coffee, but nothing grabbed her attention quite like weaving a story. Now, equipped with an odd coalescence of skills perfect for the publishing realm, and the certainty that life sometimes takes winding paths, she's jumped headfirst into her Adult Dark Fantasy debut novel The Goddess of Nothing At All. When she's not writing, Cat can be found watching horror flicks, playing video games, reading, or planning some sort of event for someone.
