I am from Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia.

My given name is Someta, but I like to write it as So Meta because some people would come to me and say, Oh, I thought your name is Some TA. No, it’s Not! My father even attempted to put it as Sométa when he sent me to French classes, hoping it would prevent people from calling me So-mitta. (Spoiler: it didn’t.)

Well.. whether it’s Someta or So Meta, either works for me.
