About the author

T.A. Bound

Darkness and light.
Without one, the other is meaningless. The darkest shadows are cast by the brightest light. Creatures born deep within caves evolve to live without eyes, thus forfeiting one of their senses. If exposed to the light, do they even realize it exists?
This explains my approach to writing. Dark fiction with a healthy dose of humor. Or perhaps an unhealthy dose--I will leave that for the reader to decide. I enjoy speculative fiction and magical realism. Simpler times that were really not that simple. Horror grounded in reality.
If this is the type of book you enjoy immersing yourself into, then give one of my books a try--I hope you will enjoy the journey!
The Last Vampire is my first completed historical fiction/horror novel. My debut YA adventure, SHARKANO, written for tween and teen readers, was published in November 2020 by Solstice Publishing and receiving 5-star ratings. As an attorney, I also published a non-fiction book on insurance claims. Raised on the Florida Gulf Coast, after college and Law School in South Carolina, I moved to Marietta, Georgia, my current home. My wife and I live with our adopted dog Maksim Gorky, named after the Soviet author, where I enjoy cooking, writing and reading history—particularly historical fiction.
